The Tipping Point
Ok, I know its a little weird that a book about the virality of ideas would have a major life-changing effect on me but The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell definitely did. Gotta say I think it would be pretty cool to break it out into a business, unlock it from its Twitter binds and take it to the next level. Just need some cash to do it…

Dubstep
Really fascinated by the rapid evolution of dubstep, particularly artists emerging as a reaction to Burial. Just bought the Hotflush “Space & Time” compilation on Bleep. (Probably the only person who supports that site much, with the proliferation of mp3 purchase sites, I’m still very loyal. I just don’t trust other sites with the DRM crap.) Really wished I had time...

Web evolutionary phase cycle
Web 1.0: Published Content Web 2.0: Socially Generated Content Web 3.0: Machine Generated Content Web 4.0: The Singularity* We’ll never hit v5.0, it will just BE.* *Disclaimer: OK, I could be really wrong. But I’m pretty sure about Web 3.0. One other thing to note is that each phase is non-exclusive. Published and socially generated content will always exist, and elements of each...
