Connie found this great article from Independent UK that helps prove a theory of mine, that “hipster” is a cultural phenomenon brought about by the amalgamation of all subculture globally being spread and disbursed evenly across the internet.
All subcultures are now one, globally. Its kind of scary, kind of cool.
And I’ve got something up my sleeve that’s going to rock...

So sad that the RIAA pulled Muxtape. I guess it was a matter of time. One of my favorite apps, such a huge UI inspiration to what I’m working on now. Lets hope they can get it back up soon…
Yelp = shady? →
Though I do love Yelp, I have been noticing the quality start to slip. And now all these complaints of businesses being harassed kind of sucks. But I do still side with Yelp on businesses being the last on the list of who they want to appease. I mean if every biz got their way the site would just be a big ad.
Chances are the business owner pissed off the (relatively untrained) telemarketer, and...
Tips for agency / startup / small business...
As an independent contractor for almost 10 years now I have to say that nothing gets my goat more than the payment-evasion process of supposedly more “organized” clients. From experience I’d say 90% of companies could give a shit about the way their accounting dept handles their debtors and they really don’t pay enough attention to how badly this hurts their reputation....
